Die volle Beutung eröffnet sich einem erst nach vielen Jahren beständigen Übens.
Das Symbol das kyokushin Karate ist das KANKU- Zeichen.
Es ist abgeleitet von der Kanku Kata Kanku Die voll Bedeutung = In den Himmel blicken. 
In dieser Kata werden die Hande hoch gehoben, Daumen und Zeigefinger von linker und rechter Hand bilden dabei einen Kreis, durch den der Himmel betrachten wird.
